Home Library Service
The Home Library Services is a free and convenient way for housebound residents to borrow library items. We need volunteers to select library materials and deliver to housebound residents in their home, then to return borrowed materials to the library, usually on a monthly basis. A current driver's licence and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance is required. Volunteers will also require a current police check

Words on Wheels Researcher
Words on Wheels is a storytelling program presented in local aged care facilities.
We need researchers who have good computer, internet research and Microsoft Word skills to help compile themed kits that are used by the storytellers. Researchers are based at Library Support Services at the City of Whittlesea council offices in South Morang.

Words on Wheels Storyteller
Words on Wheels is a storytelling program presented in local aged care facilities.
We are looking for enthusiastic storytellers to deliver the program. Volunteers should have a flair for public speaking and excellent communication skills. A minimum commitment of two hours a month is required. Orientation is provided.

Administration Support
Administrative assistance is needed by the community engagement team. Tasks include photocopying, word processing and compiling show bags for children's programs and festivals. This position is based at Library Support Services at South Morang.

Family and Local History Volunteer
Volunteers with an interest in genealogy are required to index death notices in local Leader newspapers. Information is contributed to the Ryerson Index. Good computer skills required. Training provided. This position is based at Library Support Services at South Morang.
