YPRL subscribes to specialized databases to provide library users with free access to premium content.  Use our databases to read current magazines and journal articles, research school projects, look up building codes, read current and historical newspapers, and find information on health, law, careers and more.

1. Check out the Browse by Subject or Browse Magazines and Newspapers pages.
2. Enter your library card number and PIN when prompted.
3. Either select the magazine/newspaper issue you want to read OR perform a search.

Most databases can be accessed from home, but three of them – Ancestry, Courses and Careers, and the Building Code of Australia – can only be used at the library.
