You need permission to film or photograph in the library
As per our Responsible Conduct Policy filming and photograph in the library is prohibited without prior approval.
Application forms are available below and at our service desks.
Permission to film and photograph within Yarra Plenty Regional Library buildings may be granted under the following conditions:
- An application must be submitted at least 5 business days prior to filming.
- There must be minimal disruptions to library users
- The duration of the session must not exceed 3 hours.
- Public safety must be maintained at all times.
- Library fixtures and fittings must not be moved or disturbed unless permission by library staff is provided.
- The purpose of the filming and/or photography must align to Yarra Plenty Regional Library’s goals and principles.
- Public liability insurance must be obtained where required.
- No photography or filming of children permitted.
Please Note: where it doesn’t impact other’s enjoyment of the space, taking photos of your own child or family is exempt from this policy.
All applications will receive a response in writing.
