New and popular titles, fast!
YPRL is pleased to announce the newest collection that will help connect members with their next great read: Book Express.
And, it has proven so popular, we have now extended it to all of our Library service locations!
What is Book Express?
Book Express is a collection of books, immediately visible upon entering the library. The books are chosen by our expert librarians because they are the best, newest, and most popular fiction and non-fiction titles.
You can recognise these books by their stripy sticker.
We may also have copies of these chosen books as part of our usual library collection, but we find that popular titles often have lots of holds and a long waiting time. Therefore, we have put some copies of these hot reads aside for Book Express, so you can walk in and immediately borrow them. No waiting!
Where can I find Book Express?
Book Express is currently only available at selected branches, but it is growing. At the moment, you'll find Book Express at ALL branches, the Mobile Library and Click and Collect Hubs.

Book Express items are available:
- For 3 week loans
- With no renewals
- With no holds
- To borrow, up to 5 Book Express titles at a time
- To borrow from and can be returned to any branch.
