Yarra Plenty Regional Library provides free highspeed, business-grade NBN Internet and Wi-Fi for library visitors. To maintain the quality of this service we are making some changes.
Beginning Monday 17 March, library Wi-Fi access will require a library membership.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- When accessing library Wi-Fi you will be asked to use your membership number and PIN (sometimes called ‘password’) to login.
- Once logged in, you will be recognised on the system for 12 hours before being asked to start a new session and login again.
- You may choose to allow your internet browser to remember your library membership number and PIN to make future logins easier.
NOT A MEMBER? IT’S EASY TO JOIN!
- If you or members of your family do not have a library membership, you can sign up in minutes here.
- Membership is free and available to everyone, whether you live locally or not.
- Membership gives you access to all the library’s collections and resources, as well as our free high-speed library Wi-Fi.
- Membership is open to all ages, but if you’re under 18 you’ll need a parent or guardian’s permission and details to register your own membership.
WHAT’S MY PIN?
- If you are already a library member and use library Wi-Fi, please ensure you are familiar with your library membership number and PIN.
- Your PIN is a 4-10 character membership password than can include numbers and letters.
- If you can’t remember your membership details, our library staff are more than happy to help you at any branch.
- You can also reset your PIN/Password online here: Forgot your password?
- If you would like to call a team member you can find your local branch here: Get in contact with YPRL
- Please note, if you do change your PIN you may need to log into your digital collection services (such as Libby) again with the new PIN.
Thank you for helping us to keep our Wi-Fi and Internet fast, available and free.
