Easy Ways to Get Involved
Participating in the YPRL 2025 Community Survey is easy. There are two options to choose from.
- Online: Follow the survey link to get started. It will take 10-15 minutes complete and there are plenty of optional questions allowing you to share your thoughts in more detail.
- In Person: If you would like assistance to complete the survey, staff at our library branches and mobile and outreach services are ready to help.
Your Chance to Win!
Survey respondents can choose to go into a draw to win 1 of 12 $50 Coles Myer gift cards. To enter, tell us in 25 words or less why you think libraries are special places and provide your contact details before you complete the survey.

We're committed to working with the community to understand how to make our service better. The Community Survey helps us to make sure that the work we do is aligned with the outcomes our Library Plan. It also lets us identify areas where we excel and discover opportunities for new or enhanced programs and services. Your feedback helps us to create the best possible experience for you and your community.
Yarra Plenty Regional Library (YPRL) 2025 Community Survey Competition Terms and Conditions
- Competition dates: the competition runs from Wednesday 26 March to Monday 28 April 2025
- Eligibility: Entry is open to all residents of Victoria, Australia. Employees of YPRL and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
- Entry Requirements: To enter, participants must complete the YPRL 2025 Community Survey and submit a written entry. Each participant may submit only one entry.
- Entry Fee: There is no cost to enter the competition.
- The rules of the competition and the prize for each winner are as follows:

A: Complete the 2025 Yarra Plenty Regional Library Customer Survey
B: Submit a written entry where prompted at question 30 in the survey. Write in 50 words or less describing why you think libraries are special places.
C: Complete your name, postcode, phone and email address where prompted in the survey. - Judging Criteria: YPRL staff will judge the entries based on the creativity and relevance of the response. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Prizes: Twelve (12) winners will each receive a $50 Coles Myer gift voucher. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
- Notification of Winners: Winners will be notified by email on or before Friday 30 May 2025. The names of winners will be published on the YPRL Facebook page.
- Prize Collection: Prizes must be claimed via an acknowledgement of receipt email within 28 days of email notification. If a prize is not claimed within this period, YPRL reserves the right to select a substitute winner.
- Use of Entries: By entering the competition, participants agree that their entries may be used by YPRL for promotional or reporting purposes. Personal information collected will only be used for the purposes stated in these terms and conditions and in accordance with Yarra Plenty Regional Library’s Privacy Policy
- Record Keeping: YPRL will keep records of the competition, including financial accounting and entry details, for a period of three years after the competition is finalised.
- Conduct of Competition: The competition will be conducted fairly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Substitution of Prizes: If a prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond YPRL's control, a substitute prize of equal or greater value will be offered. The winner must agree to the substitution in writing.
- General Conditions: The competition must be conducted in a manner that is not offensive and is not contrary to the public interest. YPRL reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
