Behind the suicide statistics in Australia, there is human life and loss that leaves a devastating impact on families, friends and whole communities. You don’t need to be an expert to help someone who is struggling with life. Listening can save a life.

But you’re not alone in this — the R U OK? Website has a great range of resources and tools to help you start a meaningful conversation.

It is also important to check in with yourself.
