Bring your favourite toys or artwork to life by creating a movie all about their adventures!

Stop-motion is a simple and fun way to make movies at home.

For this activity, we used cut outs from old story books and the Stop Motion Studio app, but you could also use Lego, printed images, or anything you have in your home - the only limit is your creativity!

The Stop Motion Studio app can be downloaded onto a smart device from your app store or Google Play.

Kate Mahoney has created a video all about making your own stop motion movies - it provides step-by-step instructions on using stop motion, and tips for making your own movie. Take a look before you get started.

If you plan on using a laptop rather than a smart device, just make sure it has a camera and Windows Movie Maker installed.

Have fun making your own movies!
