The City of Whittlesea is home to scores of fascinating historical sites, from its very own castle, a reservoir once the envy of Melbourne, and even troughs where thirsty horses stopped to water in the 1900s. Many residents may not know they exist – but a new interactive map is set to get the whole family out exploring this summer.
YPRL has contributed to the 50 Sites of Significance project, which has recently been launched by the City of Whittlesea. The map with points of interest includes a photo, location and short description.
Print copies are available at City of Whittlesea libraries. Or visit Sites of Significance for a link to the virtual version, designed to automatically adjust to suit your device.
