We are pleased to announce that the Diamond Valley Library is set to reopen on Tuesday 31 August! Please note that due to current restrictions, the library will be open for contactless Click & Collect only.
Diamond Valley Library has been closed since late February for an exciting renovation, including a new glass roof. Other features include a parents’ room, fully accessible gender-neutral toilets, a new community room, meeting pods, tech pods, and an outdoor deck that will allow library users to work or lounge in the beautiful garden. There is also a co-working zone, for entrepreneurs and micro-businesses, with space for training, workshops, and to brainstorm.
This upgrade has been funded by Nillumbik Shire Council and the State Government’s Living Libraries Infrastructure Program. These new facilities will give our community even more opportunities to connect, learn, and thrive. We look forward to welcoming you into them when restrictions ease!
