Disruption to services at Whittlesea Library

On Tuesday 16 May, from 9.00am–2.00pm, Whittlesea Library will be closed so that The City of Whittlesea's Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee can set up the Whittlesea Activity Centre as an Emergency Relief Centre (ERC).

During the closure, VicPOL, the SES and CFA, Ambulance Victoria, the Department of Health and other agencies will work together to determine how to assist the Whittlesea Township in case of an emergency. The closure is important for the community as the committee will assess the space and decide on any improvements to support the ERC.

While we're closed, our other library branches in the City of Whittlesea will be open and happy to help you. Our regular Baby Storytime won't be happening, but you can still enjoy Toddler Storytime at Mill Park Library at 11.30am or Baby Storytime at Thomastown Library at 10.00am.

We know our community values the importance of this operation and we thank you for your support and understanding.

Whittlesea Library will reopen at 2.00pm on Tuesday 16 May so we can welcome our wonderful patrons back to our beautiful space.
