International Day of People with Disability is Tuesday 3 December and is a day to recognise and celebrate people living with a disability. The Yarra Birrarung Project
In addition to the great things happening across our branches, in 2024 Yarra Plenty Regional Library has launched a new project called The Yarra Birrarung Project which invites people with disability to create art based on the theme Yarra Birrarung.
If you live, work or play in Banyule, Nillumbik or Whittlesea, you can submit written work, poetry, or visual art through this online form. These will then be displayed at Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub and other YPRL branches, so get creating!
