The Textile & Craft Maker Space is devoted to hand-crafting skills
The Textile & Craft Maker Space can be found at Thomastown Library
This Maker Space consists of a range of tools and technologies supported by courses, events, and workshops to enable individuals and groups to learn new skills and advance their knowledge in clothing, embroidery, knitting, weaving, and paper crafts. A range of specialist equipment is available, including sewing machines, overlockers, sewing accessory kits, a leather working kit, embroidery hoops, weaving looms, tool kits and paper making supplies.
As part of the Textile and Craft Maker Space, there are regular programs running for users to participate in, including Sew, Chat and Repair and Sew, Knit and Craft. Users must complete safety inductions prior to using sewing machines and overlockers. Call Thomastown Library to book your induction today.
