All library branches are closed 18-21 April for Easter public holidays and the Mobile Library is off the road.

The Mobile Library will leave the Orchard St. Doreen stop at 3.30pm Thursday 17 April. Staff will remain on-site for book pick-ups until 4.30pm.

The Mobile Library service currently has a reduced borrowing range and no Wi-Fi or public computers available.

First established in 1954, mobile libraries have become a popular service for Victorians who are unable to visit their local branch or don’t have a branch nearby.

With over 12,500 items in stock, our state-of-the-art mobile library offers an extraordinary range of books, DVDs, magazines, audiobooks, and large print publications, and is available for everyone to visit, collect and borrow.

We also offer internet access with free Wi-Fi, two computers, and a children’s area.

Please note that on Extreme fire danger rating days, the Mobile Library may not be on the road.
