Yarra Plenty Regional Library is proudly supported by the dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers. We value the diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives they bring, and we are grateful for their contributions across Banyule, Nillumbik, and Whittlesea to help enrich and energize the services we offer our communities. Volunteering with YPRL is a great way to develop new skills, connect with others, and make a positive in your local community.

- You must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer with us;
- Depending on the role we ask for a commitment of at least 3-6 months, however some roles may be for shorter or longer periods;
- All volunteers at YPRL are required to undergo our recruitment and selection process which includes relevant security and screening checks. Volunteers over the age of 18 must submit a valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check (both are free of charge);
