Mill Park Library

Iconic Mill Park library opened its doors in 2002 and was the first library in Victoria designed with the concept of a hybrid digital/print library. In 2020–21, the library underwent a significant upgrade, now offering  accessible gender-neutral toilet facilities, a new air conditioning system, and an environmentally-friendly LED lighting system, a new deck and garden area to make your library experience more enjoyable.

Chancez Cafe is also open! Hours are:

• Monday 10.00am–4.00pm
• Tuesday 9.30am–3:30pm
• Wednesday–Friday 10.00am–4.00pm

We offer a range of after school activities, Storytime sessions, a Maker Space, and an ever-growing collection of books and resources. Our collection includes local history titles, and a selection of resources available in Chinese, Greek, Italian, Hindi and Punjabi. We host various library events, an array of social connection groups, a media conversion program and offer regular technology help sessions.

On Thursday nights we offer Libraries After Dark, where the library is open until 10pm. Light refreshments are provided, along with free Wi-Fi, entertainment, and the opportunity to socialise with other members.
